Gorgeous Boston 2BR | Financial District

Nice place to stay! Not suitable for person looking for an absolute 'sound proof' apartment. Positive: Access/ check-in via PIN code to open the doors. Very easy, and super clear instructions given the day before arrival The location of the apartment is very central in Boston, all central Boston City areas are on walking distance. The beds are super comfortable and extreme large. Kitchen and living room are fine. The apartment is maybe not fancy / super luxe equipped, but absolute functional. The host answers emails very quickly when there are questions. Overall: Nice home for if you stay some longer in Boston. You have all what you need, and the apartment feels like your home. Negative: The internet connection was sometimes an issue. But simple to solve by using another free internet access in the building. The temperature is the same in all rooms / areas. It was not possible to have the bedrooms cooler than the living room. Or we did not understood the airco-heating system. The apartment is some noisy. There was noise from outside, but also from neighbours, especially during the late night and early morning. The heating / cooling system is quite noisy when turned on in one of the bedrooms Host could not be contacted by phone (no answer) and they can not contact you by phone if you have not an US phone number.

Nice but not gorgeous Positive: Fourth-floor apartment in the heart of the Financial District. Centrally located for visiting Boston's major attractions (Boston is quite a compact city anyway, making everything easily accessible). The king-size beds with excellent quality mattresses ensure a good night's rest. The living room is very spacious, and there are two bathrooms with large showers that were supplied with sufficient body wash and soap for the week. The kitchen, though dated, was equipped with all the essentials, including a very large refrigerator and a working, practical dishwasher. The manager/owner was always kind and helpful, promptly responding to all our questions and requests. Negative: Although check-out is set by regulation at 10:00 AM (which we respected), upon our arrival (3:30-4:00 PM) the apartment was not yet ready. We waited over an hour, and the cleaning had evidently been done quite hastily. The forced-air heating system is extremely noisy when running. The windows are still the original ones, lacking acceptable thermal insulation, and the budget air conditioning units installed have extremely thin plastic panels—it's like having a window constantly open. This was tolerable only thanks to the mild weather we fortunately experienced during the first week of November, but in the dead of winter it would be a serious problem. Additionally, the building's heating system, located in the exterior shaft at ground level, runs 24/7 creating constant background noise: if you want to sleep at night, I strongly advise to avoid the lower floors! The furnishings are very spartan and basic. During our stay, the washing machine was completely broken, and the alternative kindly offered (to use the washing machine in another apartment on a specific day at a specific time) was not an acceptable solution for people on vacation. A financial compensation for the missing service would have been more logical and appreciated.

Alojamiento cómodo y cercano a las mejores zonas de Boston Positive: El alojamiento en general. Es tal y como figura en las fotos. Camas cómodas, espacioso y tranquilo Negative: La limpieza y el horario de entrada. Cuando llegamos a las 5 pm , de acuerdo al horario exigido, el apartamento no estaba limpio y nos obligaron a tener que entrar 1,5h más tarde. No me pareció nada bien.

Loved this apartment! It was better than a hotel. Nice layout, a bathroom for each bedroom, super clean and neat, comfortable settings and beds. The area around the building had nice restaurants and bars. Parking could have been a challenge, but valet parking garage around the corner was $28 overnight, which is a steal in Boston.
