The perfect place to stay for a week
Positive: We were looking for a place to stay for 6 nights in Boston, where our top priority was proximity to Harvard Medical School. We chose this apartment because of the many positive reviews. And we were not disappointed at all. The apartment is located on the first floor of a brand-new building on a small, quiet street. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops just a few meters away, and Harvard Medical School is only a few minutes’ walk. Public transportation stops are also very close by, making it easy to reach most parts of the city.
The apartment is excellently equipped. It has everything you might need, even for a longer stay. The cleanliness is also excellent. And a few words about the host are also worth mentioning. They responded extremely quickly to every question and comment. If I had to find a negative (which isn’t easy), I could perhaps mention the lack of true blackout curtains. But this isn’t really a shortcoming; it might just feel a bit strange to someone used to a very dark bedroom. Overall, we were very satisfied with the accommodation and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

We loved it and would stay again next time we're in Boston.
Positive: Excellent location and excellent hosts. The property was clean and the hosts were responsive. It was near orange and green subways, restaurants and convenience stores. The game room was very nice. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and exactly as presented in the photos. The only suggestion would be to add 2 more chairs to the dining table. In a space that can accommodate 5 or more, having only 2 chairs at the table made it challenging to have a meal at the table. We moved furniture and made it work.
Negative: We stayed over the weekend and the neighborhood was loud with parties, but that was no fault of the property.

Beautiful unit, convenient location, faulty construction, BAD host
This unit was clean, modern & conveniently located. However, you expect an expensive rental to work properly, but the array/ongoing nature of problems was unacceptable.
We learned the shower needed attention & would be inspected. A 1st & 2nd inspection occurred & we were told not to use the shower. We consented to repair during our stay, but the response was silence & inactivity. The bathroom sinks & other shower drained VERY slowly. Hot/cold was plumbed backwards throughout the unit, even the washer.
After several attempts to do laundry, we contacted Healing Homes (HH) & the initial solution didn’t work. Over the course of week 1, 2 different employees came on 3 occasions. Initially we did laundry elsewhere, it eventually started working, but left puddles on the floor.
We traveled half-way across the continent & expected our accommodations to support the medical purpose of our trip. Selection criteria included 2 bathrooms & an in-unit washer/dryer. Instead, the 2/2 was actually a 2/1.5, we endured intruders on an almost daily basis for a week & the facility problems were not resolved.
We wish this was a "one off," but it's the norm for HH. Our family stayed in a different location managed by HH & the same story played out: multiple visits over days without fixing the problem & silence in between.
We cannot recommend this until these problems are resolved. Finally, given the “silence & inactivity," we recommend HH be replaced by a communicative team of problem solvers.
