Chic 1 Bed Apartment! | Steps from Boston Common!

SCAM Negative: I booked the property on Saturday for 7 nights, arrived Sunday. Booking.com listing does not specify the floor the studio is on & once booked it is non-refundable. The property messaged me giving building codes, from the front door you climb 2 sets of stairs before you arrive on the 1st floor which does not have an elevator; the studio is located on the 5th floor of the building. I have arthritis in both knees & limited mobility & would never have booked this property if the Booking.com description stated the studio was on 5th floor of a building without an elevator. The description on Booking.com does NOT indicate the studio is located on the 5th floor of a building without an elevator, the property does not tell you the floor until after you have booked & no indication that the building does not have an elevator. I arrived on Sunday at 5:45pm & called the property 617-676-2049, immediately & the message was that no one was available. I then called booking.com and was disconnected 4 times by the customer service, who were not helpful. This went on from 5:45pm until 8pm. Prop Mgr never called me & texted me saying no one was available since it was the weekend & that they could not cancel my reservation and or refund my payment of $1,478.00. Text "SINCE THIS INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED BEFORE THE BOOKING WAS MADE, UNFORTUNATELY UNABLE TO ISSUE A REFUND" This is a LIE, Booking.com does not indicate that the fact that the studio if a 5th floor walk-up, without an elevator. I never entered the studio on Sunday since I could not climb the 5 flights of stairs & then needed to find other accommodation for that night and the additional 6 nights I had booked. The next morning the property texted stating they would not cancel my reservation or refund my payment of $1,478.00 & suggested I book a different property they are affiliated with. I did not.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was easy. Apartment was clean. Positive: I liked the location. Negative: Only negative would be not having a lift up to the 5th floor but i knew this anyway and it wasn't an issue.

La sistemazione perfetta a Boston Positive: L’appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort, la cucina attrezzata con lavastoviglie, macchina per il caffè, microonde. Tutto perfettamente funzionante e pulito. La camera spaziosa con una cabina armadio capiente. La zona giorno accogliente, il tavolo davanti alle finestre perfetto per due persone. La posizione è comodissima, a cinque minuti dalla metropolitana anche se a piedi si raggiunge tutto molto facilmente. La zona è tranquilla e sicura. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo ricevuto tutte le informazioni per accedere al l’appartamento, lo staff sempre disponibile e puntuale nelle risposte. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Negative: L’appartamento si trova al quinto piano senza ascensore, per noi non è stato un problema, l’informazione è segnalata ma ci teniamo a farlo presente di nuovo.

It was clean, comfy, and also smelled nice. It was very welcoming and the host was great! We were also able to get a parking meter right in front. Negative: It didn’t bother us much and I knew ahead of time but the 5 flights of stairs. But, in my eyes, it just gave a better view 😊
