Blissful South End Studio

Near convention center. Clean. Very basic. Room around the double bed is so small, you can access it from only one side. No closet. No light or lamp in bedroom. Baseboards heater are broken. Tiny bathroom. No electrical oulet near the microwave oven. Small "hotel room" style fridge. No place to eat except on coffee table.

Good location. Stocked with the things we needed.

Our stay was in a great location, and the home was relatively clean. Check in was easy with clear instructions to get in.However some things were disappointing:The studio was tiny compared to the photos online (which made it look bigger than the much smaller reality- misleading).The bathroom was so tiny it was almost impossible to turn around in, or do anything in a comfortable position, be it washing your face, using the toilet or taking a shower. No hand towels ,no hooks for any towels at all. The caulking around the tub had imbedded mold.Upon arrival we discovered major road construction in front of the entire block, not a huge problem but definitely created some hassle for unloading/ loading luggage and worsened parking options drastically. Comment from the owner when contacted about being concerned was to have paid attention to Boston parking being difficult. Really not helpful when the signs in front of property indicated this would be a problem for almost the entire month of July. Noting this in the listing or checking in notification would have been much more helpful. Major road construction noise directly in front of the unit started at 7am, and again wasn’t conducive to a relatively nice stay.If these things had been better disclosed this would have been a much better outcome and review of what could’ve been a cute studio with limitations for the right people.

Small place but perfect for a weekend in Boston! There were 2 of us. Very happy with the place and location was perfect.
