Great location, but the apartment needs significant updating and attention to comfort.
Positive: The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Back Bay, with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, the Public Library, and the T.
Negative: Unfortunately, the apartment itself was very tired and not very inviting. It is a fourth-floor walk-up, with a particularly steep first staircase. The furniture and décor were worn and minimal. Only two towels were provided and just a few hangers and no dresser. In addition, the shower temperature constantly fluctuated between hot and cold.
We were disappointed enough that we stayed only about two hours before moving to a hotel.
