Needs work but great location.
Positive: The location was great. Easy walk to historic sites and subway stations. Bed was comfortable. Code access was easy. Living area was spacious.
Negative: Laundry is NOT in the apartment but 2 flights upstairs and required $6.50/load in quarters, which were difficult to get at stores in the area and the machine ate multiple quarters before operating. Washer smelled moldy. The listing was misleading by implying laundry was in the apartment.
Staff attempted to provide additional wash cloths but repeatedly delivered hand towels. On the 3rd request they told us wash cloths were not part of our rental. Pillows were too hard. Bedroom was cramped. Sofa was uncomfortable. TV and several outlets didn't work. Tub was undergoing repairs. Bathroom sink was cracked. Lamp in bedroom was broken.

Great spot and made the whole trip a pleasure.
Positive: Very central location, super helpful and responsive hosts, spacious and historic apartment.
Negative: There are some surprisingly noisy seagulls and nearby bar, but that varied night by night.

We had the most cozy, comfortable stay here in the most centralized location in Boston.
Positive: We LOVED how centralized the location was! We were shocked how close it was to public transit, restaurants, and museums. Literally everything we wanted to get to was less than a 15 minute walk away. It was so clean and spacious, very comfortable and well kept. It had almost everything we needed for a week long stay.
Negative: The only thing missing was a towel in the kitchen!

Positive: Access into Boston was excellent and the apartment gave us all we needed for our short stay.
Negative: Record could do with a bit of modernisation out it really didn’t bother us. And the bathroom was a little tired but again still perfectly adequate for us.

Great location, terrible bathroom
The location was great for a week long trip of exploring! We were able to walk to get groceries, walk to the market for meals, and get back from the hop on hop off trolley routes and many major sites of the city. The bathroom however was a major disappointment. The bath/shower and sink take forever to drain making the showers difficult to stand and not very functional. In terms of supplies, there was only one partially used roll of toilet paper and two washcloths for two of us staying for an entire week. I would have packed some had I expected it, but then again this seems like a pretty basic thing that should be supplied. Also the dishwasher would not start so we had to hand wash our dishes upon checkout. Those are the major things to note just so you know what to expect going into it. We also requested white noise machines and an air mattress to which we were told they couldn’t supply air mattresses anymore, so we brought an extra suitcase with one on our flight. Coke to find no white noise machines but there was an air mattress?! Overall I’d still consider staying there again because of the location…they just need to figure those drains out and supply it a little better. We are in our 20s and struggled in that bathroom, so I couldn’t imagine trying to give a kid a bath with how quickly it got dirty while slowly draining or being older or less stable and trying to stand in a slippery shower with water over your ankles.
