Elegant 2BD/2BA furnished apartment in FiDi

Worst place ever

The apartment was not accurately described. The thermostat was broken and it was stuck at a sweltering hot temperature. Most windows would not open. No window screens. Most outlets were non functional. There was a sewer smell likely from the pipes. The apartment was on the seventh floor and the elevator is reported as unreliable. Overall a disingenuous description and I would not recommend it to anyone. VRBO customer support could not help due to it being owned by a third party so there is no way to get a refund from VRBO.

It was disappointing and definitely not worth the money I spent. Positive: Location was fine. Negative: I submitted a lengthy message to the owner of the property a few days ago but never heard back. They were very responsive up until this last message. There were broken items in the apartment, the toilet was unsealed and wobbling and the attachment to the television was not in the apartment and one of the remotes had dead batteries. We had to request new adapters twice and when they were finally brought they did not add the attachment so that we could plug it into the actual outlet. On top of that, we were not given notice about the unreliable elevator until the day of the check-in instructions. We were on the 7th floor and had a lot of luggage to bring up and when we left we had to bring several heavy pieces of luggage down 7 flights of stairs. Had we arrived any later we would have had to carry all of that luggage up 7 flights of stairs, as well. We ended up checking out two days early because it was such a disappointing experience. If I could go back I would not have booked this property.

Ideal apartment with two separate bedrooms with en suites, and central lounge and kitchenette. Perfect for accessing downtown and central Boston. Some street noise from bars late evening and lorries early morning. Great views of the city. Easy check-in process.

A great place in a perfect location.
