Simple, no frills, city apartment in a good location
This was a decent apartment in a good location, easily walkable to South Station and Quincy Market. The apartment itself has everything you need to for a comfortable stay but no flourishes to make it particularly cozy. It is located downtown and therefore has the typical city challenges of homeless people in the entry way and loud street noises at night (bring earplugs). It is run by an agency and communication was good but again not overly friendly or accommodating.

Convenient But Not Comfortable
I’ll start by saying the location is great. We walked everywhere for the 3 days we were there. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment and didn’t plan to, but it would have been nice to just come back and relax and feel comfortable. The apartment was not at all comfortable. You have a bed and a sofa at the bottom of the bed and a TV right in front of that. There are two chairs in the kitchen that were to high for the table. The bathroom had one hook for towels and nothing to put toiletries on. Their towels are shot and should be replaced and the floor washed. My slippers were black at the bottom by the time we left. Outside the apartment we were greeted daily, both when we left and arrived back, by homeless and addicts right by the door. They didn’t bother us, but it made us uneasy. Across the street from the building is St Anthony food pantry which we didn’t realize until we arrived so that explains everything. The smell of urine outside the building and weed in our apartment from our neighbors was strong and daily. We didn’t know anything about Healing Home and it wasn’t disclosed on the description until we read the note on the fridge. Look it up before you go so you fully understand the deal.

Amazing!
We were very impressed with our stay here! Expectations were exceeded. We opted to make all of our own food while we were in Boston, and this place made it easy - we were easily able to walk to a grocery store and back. (The only thing missing was a couple kitchen amenities, like a spatula and can opener, but we made do!) The location was clean and safe with a surprising amount of space in the apartment. Very easy to log onto our own streaming services for TV, and the wifi worked great. We were easily able to walk to Boston Commons and multiple tourist attractions, plus multiple train stations nearby for longer trips. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location near Beacon Hill, Boston Common, and Public Garden
Wonderful location close to all downtown historic attractions (all within about 1 mile). The condo is near a pedestrian friendly walking zone that is closed to traffic. Here you will find major department stores (Macy’s), grocery stores, coffee shops, drug stores, etc. Very easy walk to Boston Common where many walking tours start, and to the lovely Public Garden with the swan boats. Beacon Hill is just on the other side of Boston Common. The waterfront is just a bit further but very easily walkable. We used one Uber the entire three days we were there and only then because we were running late for a dinner reservation.
Restaurant Yvonne’s is a four minute walk from the condo. I highly recommend it! Also, Saltie Girl is a posh seafood spot that we really enjoyed for lunch. It’s about a 15-20 min walk from the condo but you’re walking through gardens and then the best shopping district in Boston (where we spotted Gwyneth Paltrow). Overall, this was a nice, small, comfortable condo in an EXCELLENT location. Would definitely stay here again.
